〈 I Want to Become Human Soon! 〉
- Venue
- Boji Gallery (Shibuya)
- Dates
-
Fri 9 – Sun 11 September 2022
On two binary oppositions. One is a personal experience: as someone with a developmental disorder, having long held a yearning for “ordinary people.” The other is a social problem: how humans who rationalize themselves to adapt to society can regain their original humanity. Setting human and machine in binary opposition, the title holds both of these questions.

〈 Shades of Existence 〉 Solo exhibition of paintings/〈 Melting and Shining 〉 Solo exhibition of photographs
- Venue
- DESIGN FESTA GALLERY WEST 1-G (Harajuku)
- Dates
-
Shades of Existence Fri 6 – Sun 8 September 2024
Melting and Shining Sat 14 – Mon 16 September 2024
On continuity and simply being. Human and machine are reconsidered not as a binary opposition but as continuous. If no clear boundary exists between them, the boundary between “ordinary” and “not ordinary” dissolves as well — and with it, the artist’s longing for the “ordinary” is resolved. As a consequence, the titles hold the view that for human happiness, the recognition of “simply being” matters more than the presence or absence of ability. The painting exhibition “Shades of Existence” and the photography exhibition “Melting and Shining” were held at around the same time.

〈 RESONANCE — Interference and Continuity 〉
- Venue
- DESIGN FESTA GALLERY EAST 203 (Harajuku)
- Dates
-
Fri 11 – Sun 13 December 2026
On the resonance of interference and continuity. The moiré and gold in the paintings implement emergent phenomena produced by the interference of different structures. The act of photographing cuts a section from the hierarchical structure of continuous time, and through reconstruction brings beauty to light. The title uses three keywords: interference in painting, continuity in photography, and their resonance.
